At Northwest Academy we truly do put the student and their program first, whether they're just starting on their journey through school or well on their way. Dr. Loshbaugh, our schools executive director and cofounder, calls this approach to educating kids, "Designer Education". The ultimate non-traditional private school experience, that really puts your student at the center of educational needs. We teach to their specific learning style and strengths. And, we come to you; on location or in home.

Northwest Academy is an accredited private school offering 1-on-1 courses for credit:
• Full-time enrollment and graduation with Northwest Academy
• Single classes to raise GPA, fill in deficit credits or accelerate school graduation
• Dual-enrollment between Northwest Academy and a traditional school

Each private program begins with an intake meeting. We discuss future goals, student learning style and analyze prior school work to design the student’s unique school program. Our supportive on-site or in-homeprivate school environment builds self-confidence while paving the way to academic success.

1-ON-1 ALTERNATIVE TO CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION

One teacher is devoted exclusively to each student for the entire instructional session. This 1-on-1 alternative to classroom-based instruction ensures a school environment that is nurturing, challenging and completely individualized.  The result is an academic program that moves at a very rapid pace,  allows for greater content depth and individual student learning style needs.

Northwest Academy is an accreditated private school. Our private school students receive an official transcript. This transcript is accepted at all higher education institutions.

EXPERT TEACHERS

Each student is paired with a private teacher who is the right match for specific academic goals and learning style. Our teachers have the subject expertise, instructional methodology, and the motivational skills to guide each student towards success.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Northwest Academy tracks student progress at each session, summarized for parents through twice-monthly progress reports. In communication with the tutor parents can closely track their child’s progress and celebrate each success along the way.

Our 1-on-1 classes for credit begin at $520 per month
